Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the closing of the II Congress of the Russian Movement of Children and Youth "Movement of the First", which was held at the RUSSIA EXPO from January 30 to February 1. Assessing the displays of the RUSSIA EXPO, the head of state noted that everything presented here "was once someone's dream" that became a reality.
"I recall postcards from the beginning of the last century in the Far East, in Vladivostok. There's a picture of a bridge that people dreamed of, they dreamed that it would be there someday. And that was at the very beginning of the last century. Today we have this bridge, we have built it, as well as another one, even bigger than the one people dreamed of, and we have many more achievements that people could not even dream of in their time," Vladimir Putin emphasized.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the entire time of the exposition, guests are welcomed with cultural events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. The exposition takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow.
