Anniversary guests of the RUSSIA EXPO visited the expositions of the National Centre RUSSIA
The
National Centre RUSSIA welcomed anniversary guests of the International RUSSIA
EXPO — the millionth visitor, Svetlana Suleymanova from Penza, and the
16-millionth guest, Natalia Yelshina from Moscow. They participated in a tour
that introduced them to the richness of traditions, cultural legacy, and
achievements of our country.
From the
very start of the route, near the festive trees adorned with symbols of all
federal districts, the guests were immersed in the diversity of Russia.
Northern patterns, Ural matryoshkas and gemstones, and golden embroidery of the
Caucasus — all these details showcase our country through its unique elements.
The tour
continued in the "Library of the Future," where the guests
rediscovered literary works and learned how science fiction writers envisioned
the future.
"This
is my first time at the National Centre, and I really liked it here. It is very
modern and beautiful. I think children would find it interesting to visit the
centre for a tour. Here, we see the connection between books, literary works,
and real scientific discoveries. This is very important. And it’s significant
that visitors can not only view items but also touch some of them," noted
Natalia Yelshina.
The
visitors took a closer look at space food, sent a "greeting from
space," dodged meteors in an interactive game, and even made wishes by
placing their hands on a special pedestal in the "Hall of Inventions."
"You
know, I was overwhelmed by my visit to the RUSSIA EXPO, and upon entering the
halls of the National Centre, I was no less impressed — it’s just as amazing
and educational here. I’ve discovered things I never even thought about. For
instance, I was astonished to learn that not only Tsiolkovsky wrote about space
but, surprisingly, Cyrano de Bergerac as well!" said Svetlana Suleymanova.
The tour
concluded in the "Legacy for the Future" hall, where guests explored
paintings, installations, and sculptures by young artists from different
countries. The visitors unanimously noted that the National Centre has become a
worthy continuation of the RUSSIA EXPO. Here, guests find what made it unique:
immersion in traditions, technological discoveries, and a vivid presentation of
our country’s cultural legacy.
It is worth
noting that Svetlana Suleymanova, the millionth visitor of the RUSSIA EXPO,
received a pre-New Year’s gift — a visit to the "Nutcracker" ballet
at the Bolshoi Theatre. This was made possible thanks to the ANO «Directorate
of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"», the Bank of Russia, and
the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. The family of Natalia
Yelshina, the 16-millionth visitor, received a gift trip to the Samara region.
There, they were greeted by the acting governor of the region and the
exposition organizers. This trip, just before the start of the school year,
became a bright event for the entire family and left them with fond memories.
The National Centre RUSSIA will host a series of presentations titled "Journey Across Russia's Gastronomic Festivals."
The National Centre RUSSIA today meets the needs of various professional communities for communication and exchange of experience.
During the tour of the expansive exposition, the Chairman of the Government highlighted the significance of the display.
