The world's first low-capacity nuclear power plant and a presentation of the VIII Children of Asia International Sports Games were presented by the country's largest region. The Day of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) opened at the International RUSSIA EXPO.

Experts told about the unique station to children and students. They were the first to come to the excursions. The tour about the complex facility is so interesting that some kids already want to work there.

"When I learned that we will build a nuclear power plant, I decided that in the future I want to work there. Now I am studying physics and already know the basics, I plan to continue studying!" - said Artyom Milyukin from Deputatsky settlement in Yakutia.

In 2024 Yakutia will host a major competition Children of Asia, which will be attended by young athletes from 25 countries. The visitors to the exposition are also told about this global scale event. Meanwhile, the head of the republic, Aysen Nikolayev, talks about how to develop the largest region of the Russian Federation in permafrost conditions.

You can get acquainted with Yakutia's stand in Pavilion No. 75 at the VDNH. Key achievements of 89 regions are presented here. Entertainment, business and educational events are held for the guests of the exposition.
