The Ivanovo region is set to showcase its achievements this autumn
The region plans to present the best local developments in industry, agriculture, transport, infrastructure, science and culture to the visitors of the EXPO.
"At the International RUSSIA
EXPO held at VDNH the event calendar for the Ivanovo region, some landmarks for tourists to visit and our cultural heritage in the format of ‘Day of the Region’ will also be presented. A separate area referred to the small towns and projects for their development will be given special attention at the show. Artisans and enterprises of folk handicrafts will showcase their articles at the relevant exposition, and the video-presentation of our region will also be held", — informed the press-office of the regional Government.
The Ivanovo region is famous for such high-quality handicrafts as chintz fabrics, hand embroidery and jewelry. Among the most popular sights of the region are the House-Museum of I.I. Levitan, the Resurrection Cathedral in Shuya and the Museum of Palekh Art.
The event brought together 150 participants, including teachers of Russian and other languages of the peoples of Russia, students from media classes, and members of literary clubs from Moscow and other regions.
One of the key topics on the second day was caring for schoolchildren's health, emotional wellbeing and safety.
The National Centre RUSSIA studies the best world practices and advanced technologies in culture, media and other fields.
