A team of students from Transnistria won a special category of the II "Dreams of the Future" Contest organised by the National Centre RUSSIA. As their prize, the students received a trip to the National Centre RUSSIA branch in Vladivostok. In the city of roads, bridges and the sea, they have already seen some of the key sights, with another two days of travel still ahead.

The "Guardians of the Future" team submitted a video with the poetic title "Decode the Future by Preserving the Present". In it, the students declare that the future is not where we are going, but what we are creating right now. The trip to Vladivostok is a special prize from the Director General of the National Centre RUSSIA, Natalia Virtuozova.

"The idea of entering the contest came about spontaneously: we were not really expecting anything, we just decided to give it a try. We filmed it together, edited it together — and somehow it turned out to be a genuinely good video. When we received the reply from the organisers, at first we could not believe it: we were being invited to Moscow! That alone seemed like an incredible gift. Then we found out that we had also won a trip to the Far East, and we were twice as happy," said one of the team members, Sergei Lisnik.

On their first day in Vladivostok, the students visited the Tokarevsky Lighthouse and the Marine Terminal, immersed themselves in the atmosphere of the city's "Chinatown" and explored its historic centre. Natalia Shalina, a guide at the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye Territory, shared fascinating historical facts with them. The day ended with a training session in dragon boats.

The main event of the trip is still ahead: a visit to the National Centre RUSSIA in the Primorye Territory, where the winners will explore interactive expositions on the region's history and achievements, see panoramic installations dedicated to Far Eastern lighthouses and learn about the culture and traditions of the Far East. The programme also includes a trip to Russky Island, visits to the Primorsky Aquarium and Safari Park, as well as other locations in Vladivostok.
