Project proposals for branches in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation were presented at the National Centre RUSSIA on 19 March. The project of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic was approved and received support from the Organising Committee of the National Centre RUSSIA. The presentation was delivered by the head of the region, Kazbek Kokov. In total, eight regions presented their plans.
"The branch of the National Centre RUSSIA is planned to be located in the Palace of Creative Youth, the construction of which is at its final stage. The branch will occupy the entire basement floor of the building, with an area of more than 5,000 square metres. The content of the exposition will reflect the key achievements of Kabardino-Balkaria across all spheres of life," said Kazbek Kokov.
According to him, the National Centre RUSSIA will be located in a building on Shogentsukov Avenue, opposite the Government House and Concord Square. The space will be built around the image of Elbrus as the main symbol of the Republic, embodying success, strength and a drive towards new heights. He added that the branch will become a venue for numerous events at the regional, national and international levels in the fields of culture and the arts, healthcare and education, tourism and entrepreneurship, as well as other areas.
"I am confident that this will be a bright and atmospheric point of attraction both for residents of Kabardino-Balkaria and for our guests," said Kazbek Kokov.
In total, eight regions presented their projects: the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Yaroslavl region, the Kaliningrad region, the Kirov region, Khabarovsk region, the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic and the Republic of Karelia.
