How to spend May 8 and 9 at the Ministry of Health exposition
Victory Day
is being celebrated in a big way at the International RUSSIA EXPO. On May 8 and
9, at the exposition of the Ministry of Health, there will be an exposition
dedicated to the heroes-medics of the Great Patriotic War and a demonstration
area where modern first aid equipment will be presented. Еveryone will be also
able to take part in masterclasses and watch performances of famous artists.
Doctors, paramedics, nurses, sanitary instructors — their contribution to the victory over fascism cannot be overestimated, they fought for people's lives and won against all odds. You can learn more about the feat of military medics thanks to the joint project "Warriors in White Coats" of the Ministry of Health and the Museum of the History of Medicine of Sechenov University of the Ministry of Health . And the photo exposition "Medical Heroes" will be broadcast on interactive multimedia screens. The excursion platform will be available for guests on May 8 and 9, from 10 am to 8 pm.
Also, a
demonstration area "Tactical Medicine" has been prepared for guests. Here you
can get acquainted with modern first aid equipment, learn how soldiers' lives
are saved on the battlefield and even try to master the techniques of
assistance and self-help for various injuries. The demonstration area will be
available for guests on May 8 and 9, from 10 am to 8 pm.
In
addition, a rich evening program awaits guests at the exposition of the
Ministry of Health. On May 8, the final chord will be a literary and musical
composition "Vasili Tyorkin" based on the poem of the same name by Alexander
Tvardovsky. The guests will hear a heartfelt and unbridled reading of the
legendary lines of the poem "Vasili Tyorkin". Favorite folk songs and songs of
the war years will be performed by the song ensemble "Radonitsa". There will
also be contests, dancing to the squeezebox, a quiz and gifts!

Emotional
conclusion of the festive day, May 9 at the exposition of the Ministry of
Health, will be an interactive concert program "And the Saved World
Remembers!". From 17:00 to 19:00, guests will hear songs of the war years
performed by the leading artist of the Opera House Dmitry Shatilov, pop
singers, winners of national and international competitions Artyom Barinov,
Natalia Lemeshenko and Alina Melnik.
The program
also includes legendary poems about the Victory and the Motherland by the
artists of the Theatre Center "On Plyushchikha" Milana Ibragimova and Julianna
Komandrikova. And in honor of the holiday everyone will be able to take part in
a masterclass "Victory Waltz" on a specially opened retro dance floor.
