How millions were inspired to love the country even more: an interview with the Director General of the RUSSIA EXPO Natalia Virtuozova
The
RUSSIA EXPO has embedded itself into the recent history of the country. We
managed to gather all achievements in just a few months. We’ve attained the
desired effect: the predominant emotion of the guests is pride for their
country, shares Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the Exposition.
The
expositions impress not only the residents of our country, who often realize
for the first time how great and strong Russia is, how diverse and beautiful it
is. Foreigners are even more amazed.
"We
hear English, Chinese, Spanish, and Indian languages. There are a lot of
foreigners at the Exposition, and their percentage is growing. Recently, a
guest from Italy said, 'I berate you a lot from Florence.' I ask, 'Why?' He
answers, 'Because you talk so little about this Exposition around the world,
even though there's nothing better!'” shares Natalia Virtuozova.
The
Exposition has become a place where artisans and entrepreneurs from the regions
can make themselves known. For example, various products from each region are
represented at the Department Store.
"All
89 regions presented their best products there, starting from modernized
industries to the best goods produced by the region," gives an example the
Director General of the Exposition.
The
Exposition attracts not only with the opportunity to see, but also to express
oneself. Here, every day is a feast with songs and dances! Since November,
performances of dozens of bands from all over the country have taken place. The
RUSSIA EXPO can be proud of its festival program.
Since May
21, the "Future in Flowers" festival has started here, where guests
are introduced to the trends and modern level of development of the flower
industry. The Industrial Square and the space near the Lenin monument are
drowning in flowers! Here, guests can stroll among bright installations and
take beautiful photos as a keepsake.
