How to build a career in IT, what requirements employers impose on job seekers - lectures on employment in the IT sector were held at the RUSSIA EXPO in the Smart Finance pavilion of the Bank of Russia.

Ekaterina Kolesnikova, Deputy General Director for HR of T1 Holding, noted that the need for qualified specialists has increased over the past few years - this is due, among other things, to the development of Russia's technological sovereignty.

"The importance of IT specialists is growing due to the penetration of technologies and the accelerated pace of import substitution. Now the IT market is seeing more and more applicants at the junior level, while middle and senior are the in-demand staff for which Russian enterprises compete. One of the tasks of our Holding is to popularize core education and promote the Russian engineering school of IT professions. It is important to invest in schoolchildren and young people so that they see the future of domestic IT technologies and choose to develop in this field," emphasized Ekaterina Kolesnikova.

In particular, T1 Holding organizes Impulse IT-conference, which last year was held in seven cities of Russia. It was attended by several thousand people. In addition, there is a Digital Academy, which helps students to grow to the level required by the company, said the deputy general director of T1 Holding for HR.

"We have internship programs in place - specifically so that beginners in IT can try themselves in a real situation: create new products, refine them. We plan to employ more than a thousand young specialists in our company this year," summarized Ekaterina Kolesnikova.
