Kalmykia to present its traditions and IT-technologies at the exposition
Each region tries to present itself at the International RUSSIA EXPO in a particularly bright and unusual way. For example, Kalmykia will tell about ancient traditions with the help of modern technologies at the RUSSIA EXPO.
"We have developed the design of the pavilion of Kalmykia at the RUSSIA EXPO taking into account all the national features of the republic, so that once inside it, with the help of IT-technologies a participant or a guest could feel the authenticity. In particular, right in front of the entrance to the pavilion we will place an area with a screen, touch panel, interactive map and, having received VR-glasses, visitors will virtually see the beauty and uniqueness of the republic, implemented investment projects, achievements in agriculture, industry, construction of social facilities, tourism", — said the head of Kalmykia Batu Khasikov.
The organizers plan to recreate the atmosphere of the steppe, both visually with the help of an interactive floor imitating the blooming of tulips, a pink lake, sands and wattle, and with the help of smells. Aroma diffusers will fill the pavilion with the scents of mugwort, tulips and lotuses.
Master classes on national games, calligraphy of Old Kalmykian writing and embroidery will help to learn more about the culture and tradition of Kalmykia. In addition, guests will be able to take part in national rituals and make a wish by spinning a prayer drum — kurde, as well as try to master national musical instruments.
