Vladislav Shapsha urged Kaluga residents to vote for the nominees from their native land on the "Achievements.RF" portal launched specially for the International RUSSIA EXPO.

The region presented 18 achievements for the all-Russian project: festivals, production facilities, medical and scientific centers, tourist facilities. The Governor of the Kaluga region Vladislav Shapsha noted that all the successes of the region are the fruits of labor of its residents.

At the moment the International Music Festival "World of Guitar" is in the lead. This is the largest musical event in the region and one of the main cultural events in the country. The festival has been held since 1998. At different times leading soloists and groups, composers and conductors from 45 countries of the world participated in it. Almost half of them are nominees and laureates of the most prestigious musical award in the world — "Grammy".

With a small gap behind the winner follows the "Sickle" horse breeding plant, where they revive the national tradition of breeding horses of the Orlov trotting breed. In third place is the "Kaluga Niva", the region’s main agricultural enterprise.

You can learn about other achievements of the region and support the most significant ones on the "Achievements.RF" portal. There you can also see the projects of other regions and the main achievements of the country.
