Caramel camaleonte, cheese marmalade and wild fish: real delicacies at the Farmers Fair
At the RUSSIA EXPO, you can always
discover new gastronomic combinations and get acquainted with delicious
products from all over the country. Be sure to stop by Pavilion 48 to try
northern fish, meat, cheeses based on classic European recipes, as well as
marmalade and cheese pastila.
A brand from St. Petersburg will
present its cheeses created according to classic European recipes at the fair.
The assortment includes burrata and Stracciatella, gruyere with truffle and
camaleonte with caramel flavor and nutty aroma, as well as sheep and goat
cheeses and halloumi for frying.
Farmers from the Republic of
Bashkortostan will also bring their products. These are artisan and craft
cheeses made from selected milk of cows of the Ayrshire breed, which is rare
for Russia, as well as from the milk of goats of the Nubian breed. The milk is
perfect for making cheese.
Meanwhile, cheese makers from the
Ivanovo region will present not only various cheeses, but also cheese marmalade
and cheese pastila - a real hit among customers. All products are made from
cheeses of their own cheese factory, without the addition of preservatives,
dyes and GMOs. Cheese sweets are perfect for appetizers or fruit and berry
desserts.
At the Farmers Fair you can also
taste fish products from the Krasnoyarsk region from representatives of the
indigenous community "Mukustur", whose main activity is hunting and
fishing. The territory of the Taymyr Peninsula is included in the Great Arctic
Reserve. Fish of valuable species are caught in the lakes of the peninsula, as
well as in the areas of the Yenisei Gulf of the Arctic Ocean.
Fish is processed and smoked
naturally on alder sawdust especially for fairs and festivals. It will be
possible to buy delicious broad whitefish, muksun, omul, red salmon and
whitefish.
Fish will also be brought from the
Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area. The assortment of the brand includes more than
50 items of ready-made fish products from pike, broad whitefish, whitefish,
dace fish, crucian carp, perch, smelt, vendace, trout, peled: dried,
mild-cured, cold smoked, chips and straws, fish salad, pike "Khe",
tsar-style trout appetizer, Sagudai salad from whitefish.
In addition, guests will be welcomed with premium class dry-cured meat products of natural maturation, oak wood-fired dishes: classic beef brisket, pork ribs, knuckle and neck, chicken wings and breast, smoked African clarias catfish and other delicacies.
Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO can get there quickly and comfortably by a free bus from the arch of the northern entrance (Pavilion 75) to Pavilion 48. Traffic schedule: from 10:00 to 13:00, from 14:00 to 20:00. Traffic interval: every 15 minutes.
The event
