"More than a Career" Job Center for young people was opened at the RUSSIA EXPO
"More than a Career" Job Center was inaugurated at
the International RUSSIA EXPO on the Spring and Labor holiday. The center is
operated by the Rosmolodezh.Career track together with the Exposition
Directorate. The center will operate until July 8.
The center is designed for professional and personal
development of young people. Exposition guests will be presented with
attractive career tracks in our country, inspired to work in large companies,
shown the expectations of employers from different industries and trained in
the necessary competencies. The Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh)
will offer young people a wide range of programs to support youth employment,
including internships, training in new skills, and job counseling.
According to Ksenia Razuvaeva, head of the agency, one of Rosmolodezh's tasks is to create conditions for career growth and professional development of young people. "Thanks to Rosmolodezh's projects, young people in Russia have the chance to get access to career opportunities, expand their horizons and realize their potential. As part of the work of the career center "More than a Career" young people receive assistance in choosing a professional path and career development, access to up-to-date information about vacancies, of which there are more than 80 thousand, and the requirements of employers in various industries, take part in career guidance events, lectures, seminars, workshops and trainings to improve professional and personal skills. The Center covers all areas of activity: the largest system-forming, city-forming production sites, companies from the fuel and energy sector, chemical production, space industry enterprises, metallurgical and transport companies, cultural centers and flagships of education, scientific and tourist institutions. Our partners - federal executive authorities, state corporations, which are participants of the Exposition, will place the career center zones in their pavilions," Ksenia Razuvaeva added.
In addition, the stands of all 89 regions of Russia in
Pavilion No. 75 will have information about employment, internship or
traineeship opportunities in the subject. Large industrial companies of the
regions will be able to present themselves for potential applicants. The heart
of the career center is in the Home of Youth (Pavilion 55), where
representatives of SEZ IPT Alabuga JSC, Russian Student Squads, Superjob LLC,
HH.students, Business Solutions and Technologies JSC, Russian manufacturer of
construction, road and special equipment UMG and many others will be able to
tell about career opportunities in these companies and in the industry.
On May 1, registration for the "More than a
Career" excursion routes at the RUSSIA EXPO will start, which will be
launched on May 12. Participants will be able to get to know their chosen
specialty in more detail. The routes will include Pavilion No. 75 "Regions
of Russia" and Pavilion No. 55 "Home of Youth", as well as the
pavilion of the Ministry of Labor. Eight routes per day are expected. The route
will rotate every two weeks.
The digital platform of the "More than a Career"
Job Center will also be integrated with "Work of Russia" service from
the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, where
almost 2 million vacancies from more than 1 million employers are presented.
It is worth noting that today in honor of the Spring and
Labor holiday at VDNH, Russian Student Squads together with Rosmolodezh held a
festive procession under the slogan "May! Labor is Cool!". The event
was attended by more than 5,000 people: RSS fighters from Moscow and Russian
regions, veterans of the movement, partners, employers, students of
universities and colleges, youth organizations, sports stars, young
specialists, participants of the Rosmolodezh.Career track and young families.
In addition to the procession there was a defense of grant projects of socially
significant initiatives by the participants and a concert.
The performance took place as part of the international Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth."
One of the tracks of the Open Dialogue is "Investments in Human Capital." The pitch session on this topic brought together over 30 speakers.
One of the key topics for discussion within the initiative became "Investments in Connectivity," which attracted 24% of the essay authors about the future of the world.
