Documentary filmmakers were invited to become part of the RUSSIA EXPO
Documentary film festival "Knowledge.Cinema" continues to accept applications. Within a month, until October 20, authors can submit their films and projects for selection. The festival "Knowledge.Cinema" will be held within the framework of the International RUSSIA EXPO and will be dedicated to the activities of Soviet director and screenwriter Dziga Vertov.
Participation in the exposition-forum is an opportunity for documentary filmmakers to present their works to the professional community and the general public. The themes of the festival are extensive. These are achievements in science, culture, sports and other spheres. The key point is a powerful educational idea and original author’s solutions. In addition, filmmakers can present only planned projects and find support for their realization.
Both experienced and novice filmmakers can take part in the event. The only condition is to be a citizen of the Russian Federation at the age of 18 years and older. However, there is also an opportunity for younger filmmakers to participate. Participants over 14 years old can submit their works in special nominations "The First" and "Choice of the First".
The festival works will be evaluated by famous theater and film directors, public figures and other experts. The jury will select winners in several nominations. The creators of the best works will receive cash grants, opportunities for free training and internships.
Applications will be accepted until October 20. Details of participation can be found on the website of the society or on the page of the project in social networks.
