Kirov residents presented a multimedia audio guide “Kirov in Earphones”
As part of the National Priorities Day at VDNH dedicated to youth and children, Kirov residents presented a full-featured multimedia audio guide “Kirov in Earphones” developed by students of Vyatka State University for the 650th anniversary of the city of Kirov.
The full-featured audio guide will tell Russia about the city of Kirov, which celebrates its 650th anniversary this year. The project includes a series of audio guides. All of them are supplemented with photos, text, useful links, quizzes.
When creating audio tours, Kirov students used new technologies: mobile city tours that work via GPS. It is enough to stick to the route, to walk at any speed - the story will be triggered exactly when the guest will be at the sightseeing place.
By the way, the young people have recorded more than just walking tours: two of them are designed along the routes of trolleybuses that run through the entire city. The audio guides are available for listening from anywhere in the world, which makes it possible to get acquainted with Kirov remotely.
It should be noted that the student project in 2023 won the Kirov Region Business Event Award. The entire series of audio guides “Kirov in Earphones” is available for free download on the platform https://www.izi.travel/ru.
On 12–13 November, the National Centre RUSSIA will once again become the main meeting place for those thinking about what tomorrow will look like.
