When it appeals to children and adults alike: the large Kurayev family shared their impressions of "Journey Across Russia"

Shared experiences often become the most treasured family memories. A guided tour of the "Journey Across Russia" exposition at the National Centre RUSSIA offered the Kurayev family exactly this experience, as the parents and children embarked on an exciting adventure through the country's regions without leaving Moscow.

The Kurayevs have eight children. Large families are also a long-standing family tradition: both Yefim and Olga grew up in large families themselves, while their brothers and sisters also went on to have many children. They visited the National Centre RUSSIA together and admitted that the tour was a genuine discovery for every generation.

"This is our first time here, and we are absolutely delighted. Both the children and we are impressed. To be honest, the tour itself really amazed us — the guide told the stories so engagingly that we felt completely immersed. You feel as though you are inside every region and every story," said the mother of the family, Olga Kurayeva.

According to her, projects like this are particularly important for family leisure. When parents and children experience vivid emotions together, learn something new and discuss what they have seen, it becomes genuine quality time together. Leisure and learning come together here, which makes the experience particularly valuable.

The exposition's interactive format was especially popular with the children, allowing them not simply to observe the displays but to become part of the experience.

"Everything here is very interesting. There are things you can touch, games you can play and scents you can smell. I really like it. Expositions like this help the whole family discover new things, walk around, play and spend time together," said young visitor Nastya Kurayeva.

Her brother Lenya admitted that he was most impressed by the exposition's natural environments: "I particularly liked the volcano. It was also great to ride in the boat and look at the seals through binoculars. Places like this are important because children are happy and their parents share that happiness with us."

The "Journey Across Russia" exposition introduces guests to the natural, cultural and industrial wealth of all the country's federal districts. Modern multimedia technology, interactive areas and guided tours allow visitors to see Russia in all its diversity in a single journey.
