The designer was inspired by folk arts and crafts of the Belgorod region and the works of schoolchildren from Stary Oskol to create the "Belogorye" collection, designed in collaboration with artistic and creative groups of the region. Last year designer Alena Akhmadullina and the government of the Belgorod region jointly organized a competition among art schools for the best drawing dedicated to Stary Oskol toys. The winner was Victoria Marandykina, a pupil of the M.G. Erdenko Children's Art School No. 1 in Stary Oskol. The prize-winning places were taken by pupils of the children's art school of Stary Oskol: second — Sofia Yatsun, third - Polina Chasovskikh. Their works were chosen as the basis for the prints of the collection.

The source of inspiration for the prints and embroideries of the collection was also Belgorod traditional ornament. Black-embroidery — a characteristic geometric pattern, which is called "arepey" in the region - has its origins in the culture of the ancient Slavs.
