Concert of Mari music and dance — on June 23 at the RUSSIA EXPO
On June 23, Pavilion No. 75 will host the concert "Future of the Red City". Attendees will enjoy the finest examples of Mari instrumental music and witness dance performances by professional regional groups.
The "Future of the Red City" concert program features the best of Mari instrumental music performed by members of the All-Mari Children's Gusli Ensemble, enchanting saxophone melodies by Yaroslav Kutarkin and joyful, colorful performances by the "Zvukograd" ensemble and the "Firebird" folk song ensemble. Spectators will also enjoy dance performances by the pop groups "Assorti" and "Smile".
One of the highlights of the concert program will be performances by professional regional groups: the State Dance Ensemble "Mari El" and the leading soloists of the Mari State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre named after Eric Sapaev.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 16 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
