A land of bread and sugar: the Dobrinsky district was presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
Folk songs, a magnificent loaf and sweet prizes for the smartest. At the stand of the Lipetsk region you can learn a lot of interesting things about bread production and get acquainted with the Dobrinsky district.
Almost 80% of the Lipetsk region is occupied by agricultural land. Grain and oilseed crops, sugar beets, potatoes and other vegetables are grown here. One of the key agricultural areas is the Dobrinsky district, where grain crops and sugar beets are grown. By the way, it is in the Dobrinsky district that one of the largest sugar factories is located.
The guests of the Exposition can also appreciate Dobrinsky ecologically pure sugar. But only if they correctly answer one of the questions of the "Bread Quiz". If you know how the first sheaf of wheat was called in Russia or how many grains are needed for one loaf of bread, you can win half a kilo of sugar.
Also at the stand you can take part in harvesting: take a ride on a tractor thanks to VR-technologies. And you can see the beauty of the region by canoeing, driving a truck and running a marathon. VR-flight will take viewers over Kudykina Gora (Kudykina Mountain), Deer Park and the Don River.
In addition, the exposition will gladly tell you where tourists should definitely visit. For example, the Argamach Archeological Park in the village of Argamach-Palna is dedicated to the history of the region and the culture of the peoples who lived here. And in the "Kudykina Gora" park you can see the famous 15-meter sculpture of the Zmey Gorynych, which "comes to life" by spewing flames.
