The Far North, Moscow rooftops and whales singing: what awaits us in virtual reality
The RUSSIA
EXPO opens a portal to other worlds. Every day guests of VDNH can see new
places, travel to the past and the future. All thanks to VR-cinema.
VR-cinema
in the Smart City
The Smart City pavilion has a unique VR-cinema. Guests can watch several movies about Moscow. For example, walk along the roofs of the capital, see its past and future, look into such iconic places as Intourist and National hotels. Even for residents of the capital, Moscow will open up in a new way, and guests will fall in love with it even more.
Teleport
from Geographical Society
The
VR-cinema at the Russian Geographical Society stand in Pavilion C will
"teleport" viewers to the most beautiful places in Russia. You can
fly over the nests of guillemots on the Kola Peninsula, see clouds over
Ai-Petri in the Crimea, dive to visit a ringed seal in the Sea of Okhotsk, and
hear gray whales singing.
Moreover,
VR-technologies will allow everyone to visit the excursion of Alexander Kolchak
himself and listen to the stories of Peter Semenov-Tyan-Shansky about his
adventures in Altai and Central Asia.
5D attraction Polar Owl
The Gazprom pavilion has prepared a real multimedia journey for the guests. The main event will be an adventure in the Polar Owl 5D movie theater. The audience will travel to the Far North to see where and how natural gas is produced. On the way you will face harsh challenges and meet the animals of the tundra: polar bear and polar owl. Registration is required to visit the pavilion.
