Beauty with history: Russian Beauty Guru lipstick collection at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA
A lipstick collection created with deep respect for Russia’s cultural traditions is now available at the Department Store of the National Centre RUSSIA. The packaging design was inspired by historical patterns of Ivanovo chintz — one of the symbols of Russian folk decorative art, known since the 17th century and recognised internationally.
The product packaging, adorned with floral motifs and ornaments, reflects authentic patterns from Ivanovo chintz manufactories, provided by the archive of the Ivanovo Chintz Museum. These include, in particular, the "Striped Linen" fabric by the Kuvayev manufactory, which was exhibited at the Paris World Exposition in 1900; the "Furniture White-Ground" chintz by the O. S. Sokol manufactory; and the chintz produced by the A. I. Gandurin manufactory and brothers, which was part of the Chicago World Exposition in 1893.
The "Russian Nude" lipstick collection by the domestic cosmetics brand Russian Beauty Guru (RBG) demonstrates how traditional crafts can find new expression in contemporary design.
The packaging is not merely a container, but a bridge between the past and the present — where everyday aesthetics become part of a broader cultural dialogue.
These makeup products contain natural avocado, mango and shea oils, along with vitamin E, providing lip care throughout the year.
