Special Alloy Cup: Ural artists held a creative tournament at the RUSSIA EXPO
Creative schools
representing all the variety of genres: modern choreography, jazz, neoclassics,
DJing and other art directions converged in a creative competition at the
RUSSIA EXPO. The judges were the audience, who determined the owner of the
Special Alloy Cup, created by the best Ural masters.
The event
was attended by artists from Kurgan, Sverdlovsk, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk
regions, as well as from Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area — Yugra and Yamalo-Nenets
Autonomous Area. The tournament consisted of three parts: "Legend"
(distinguished artists of the region), "Traditions" (traditional and
national collectives) and "New Word" (presentation of numbers in the
most fashionable genres and with the use of technological
"gimmicks").
The winner
of the Special Alloy Cup was the State Academic Dance Ensemble "Ural"
from the Chelyabinsk region. Also, the People's Choice Cup went to the
Governor's National Dance Ensemble "Syra'sev" from the Yamalo-Nenets
Autonomous Area.
The
International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country
gathered in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich
business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89
Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public
organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 15 million people have
already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at
VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
The event will feature a presentation of a collection of essays written by participants of the international project "Open Dialogue: The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth."
