For the Arkhyz resort, the issue of ensuring work of the cableways is a key one. Already this year, the Orbit cableway will appear at an altitude of 3,014 m. And by 2027, the resort will put into operation 6 new cableways of gondola and chairlift type with the length of about 11 kilometers. Special machinery and equipment for ropeways manufactured in Russia will be used in the creation of the infrastructure.

A solemn signing of a cooperation agreement between Mantera Group, which owns the Arkhyz ski resort in the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, and the equipment manufacturer RUSLET LLC took place at the RUSSIA EXPO.

"Tourism is becoming a driving force for the development of other industries. And it is not only transport, culture, catering, it is also the procurement of complex engineering products. We realize that we need our own production, and such a landmark contract was signed by the group of companies Mantera, which bought the Arkhyz ski resort from the state last year with investment commitments. And it is very important that investments are not for the purchase of imported equipment, but for orders for our enterprises," said the Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Reshetnikov.

The head of the department said that it is also planned to supply Russian snowcats to Arkhyz - these are special tracked vehicles that are used to prepare ski tracks and ski slopes.

"The accelerated development of tourism infrastructure in the country is currently underway, including ski resorts. Mantera Group, managing and developing mountain resorts, is undoubtedly interested in the emergence of domestic manufacturers of specialized ski equipment, is ready to give them priority and provide them with orders when implementing new projects. We have studied the potential of our manufacturers and realize that their share will grow by 25% within seven years. This means that the new ski projects will use Russian technologies and solutions to the maximum extent possible," said Vadim Trukshin, CEO of Mantera Group.

The Arkhyz ski resort was launched in 2013. Now there are 27 kilometers of slopes of different difficulty levels and eight cableways. Artificial snow-making machines are also used here. Now it receives about 700 thousand tourists a year - it is assumed that they will become twice as many by 2030 due to the creation of new infrastructure. In 2023, it was bought from the state by the Mantera Group with investment commitments.
