Lectures on the creation of icons, a masterclass on porcelain painting, an updated exposition of St. Petersburg, professions and dozens of other events await the guests of the RUSSIA EXPO on March 26.

Festival of Professions

The program includes a panel session "Sewing and Design Industry. Profession: Tailor, Clothing Designer" and presentation of the activities of educational and production clusters of the Chelyabinsk region.

"Education/Decade of Science and Technology", Pavilion C "Family. Work. Longevity"

Official opening of the "Industrial" thematic season at the St. Petersburg stand

The main concept of the thematic season is to demonstrate the industrial potential of St. Petersburg. There will be a masterclass on painting from JSC "Imperial Porcelain Factory", in which a representative of the factory will show the participants the process of painting according to all the standards of the Imperial Porcelain Factory. Participants will be given blanks of porcelain products, which will transform under the keen guidance of the masters.

Lecture "Who and How Painted Russian Icons? Mysteries and Peculiarities of the Ancient Craft" 

Who painted the first icons? Did this activity require a special permit? Who issued it? How does it work today? These and many other questions will be answered by Elena Guvakova, a researcher at the Museum of Russian Icon.

Lecture by polar explorers

Sergei Sayman, traveler, organizer of the expedition to the Arctic, will share his experience with the guests of the Exposition.

"Education/Decade of Science and Technology"

Lecture "Moscow - Mangazeya: transit of Russian civilization to the Far North"

Lecture about the creation and development of Mangazeya - a city in the Far North of Siberia, the center of fur trade. Mangazeya was created in 1600 at the command of Boris Godunov and provided a significant inflow of fur to Moscow. Mangazeya prospered for about 70 years until the resource base of the nearby territory was exhausted. The entire population left for the Turukhanskoye winter camp (New Mangazeya). In the twentieth century, Mangazeya was found, and archaeological excavations are going on in its place. Gazprom Dobycha Yamburg LLC organized two historical and geographical expeditions along the Mangazeya - New Mangazeya route.

Interactive lecture "Professions of the Future in Construction: TIM-Designer and Environmental Analyst"

DOM.RF experts will talk about professions that are already in demand in construction and architecture and will become even more popular in the next five years. There will also be a presentation of free career guidance courses from the DOM.RF Digital Academy.

Public talk "Creating a Healthy Environment"

The availability of sports facilities largely determines the lifestyle of the population. Exercise reduces stress levels, improves mood and promotes personal growth. What should be done to make sport a norm of life for most people? How to make sports infrastructure an integral part of every city and housing complex? Participants will be able to find out the answers to all these questions at the public talk.
