The Lipetsk region has presented its concept for participation in RUSSIA EXPO
The regional expo-show will be mainly focused on the seventieth anniversary our region will celebrate in 2024. At the EXPO the Lipetsk region is set to showcase its major projects in various areas of culture, economy and social life.
"The Lipetsk region today is a beautiful location dynamically developing such mainstream sectors as domestic tourism, digital and innovative technologies, supporting entrepreneurial initiative and at the same time preserving and fostering the traditional branches of the economy, such as metallurgy, engineering, agriculture", — pointed out the press office of the government of the Lipetsk region.
The region produces steel, household appliances, juice and mineral water and is also one of the aviation personnel training centers. Such national handicrafts as Yeletsk lace, Yeletsk valenki (felt boots) and local textile dolls enjoy great popularity in the country.
Professor, Honorary Research Fellow at the Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD) in Bangladesh Mustafizur Rahman will be another international participant of the Open Dialogue.
On 28 August, the National Centre RUSSIA launched enrolment in the "Young Tour Guides School of Russia".
On 27 August, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted a panel discussion organised by the EISR titled "Knowledge about the Country’s Achievements: To Whom and How Should It Be Properly Communicated?".
