Favorite cartoon characters, concerts and masterclasses: New Year's Eve activities at the RUSSIA EXPO
The RUSSIA EXPO is hosting the most interesting events before the New Year and throughout the holidays. Concerts, festivals, masterclasses and much more await guests at VDNH.
Ded Moroz procession
One of the brightest events is the parade of Grandfather Frosts. It is led by an orchestra, headed by a herald-conductor who directs the parade pattern. The parade is attended by the main Russian wizard - Ded Moroz from Veliky Ustyug with Snegurochka, as well as all the Ded Morozes from the regions of Russia. Date: December 26 - 31, January 3 - 8, January 13 - 14.
Venue: from Pavilion No. 75 to the Main Entrance of VDNH, to the Main New Year Tree and back to Pavilion No. 75.
Parade of cartoon characters
All guests will be greeted by their favorite cartoon characters during the New Year holidays. You can find them on the territory of VDNH today already, and they will entertain guests until the end of the New Year vacations.
Dates: December 26 - 31, January 3 - 8. There will be three two-hour sessions per day. Place: start from the Pavilion "First in Russia - Land of Opportunities".
Fridays at VDNH
The Fridays at VDNH project includes thematic evenings with popular artists. On December 29, the evening event Techno Bears will be held. And in Pavilion No. 75 there will be a performance of VIA Proletarian Tango.
Date: December 29 from 19:00 to 20:00.

Novo-Prostokvashino
A bright New Year program is planned on the territory of the Novo-Prostokvashino complex - a prototype of a modern village with a school, polyclinic, farm, agricultural holding, fishing and even a park of culture and recreation. Ded Moroz's residence has already started working there, and a series of daily masterclasses on baking Christmas bread with candied fruits, nuts and spices has been launched.

Venue: masterclasses start at 11:00, 14:00 and 17:00. You can sign up for them at the reception desk, as well as through the Eat Our Own app.
Ice Sculpture Festival
The Ice Sculpture Festival began on December 26 and will run through February 15. 10 ice sculptures that depict significant events of modern Russian history and achievements in various spheres have already been created.

Food Fair and Department Store
The Farmers Fair is set up in Pavilion No. 48 of the VDNH and the Department Store space is in Pavilion No. 75 with products of manufacturers from all over the country available. Here they created a truly festive atmosphere and presented a wide range of different goods for any taste.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. During the whole period of the Exposition, guests are welcomed with cultural and entertainment events, a rich business and educational program. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors.
