"Getting to know Russia better": foreign participants of the Open Dialogue explore landmark sites in the capital
On the eve of the II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A Platform for Global Growth", foreign experts and participants took a tour of Moscow. They visited iconic landmarks of the capital — the State Historical Museum and Saint Basil's Cathedral.
"I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to visit this wonderful country. Very soon I will speak at the second Open Dialogue taking place at the National Centre RUSSIA," said Erica Marbalsa from Venezuela.
A rich sightseeing programme was organised for the Open Dialogue experts. They visited the State Historical Museum, where they explored its extensive exposition, traced key stages in the formation of the Russian state, and gained a comprehensive understanding of the history of Moscow and the country as a whole. Guides provided detailed explanations of significant historical events, cultural traditions, and the development of Russia across different eras.
"I am completely and definitely happy to be in Russia, because I decided to come here only for a good reason, not like a tourist. And what I feel in the State Historical museum especially, it is how big is the culture in Russia, how strong is the history, and that is why we are here. Because we are again bringing culture, history and future of humankind. So it is incredible," shared Marco Cassiano, founder of Cassiano Studio and strategic consultant from Switzerland.
The programme continued with a visit to Saint Basil's Cathedral — one of Moscow's main symbols. Guests had a chance to go inside the cathedral and learn about its architectural features, history, and role in the country’s cultural heritage.
For experts visiting Russia for the first time, the excursion provided an opportunity to form a vivid and holistic impression of Moscow. For those already familiar with the Russian capital, it became a chance to rediscover its unique atmosphere and beauty from a new perspective.
"I am grateful to be here. It is an amazing opportunity to see the history of Russia and so much beauty in one place. I think it is a great opportunity for experts from all over the world to get to know Russia a little better," noted Jelena Milićević-Proroković, advisor at the Union of National Development, Affirmation, and Social Dialogue (UNRAD) from Serbia.
The II Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. A Platform for Global Growth" will commence tomorrow and will take place from 27 to 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA. Over three days, Moscow will become a point of attraction for the international expert community: specialists, researchers, and idea creators from more than 40 countries will take part in the event. The programme will feature lectures by leading experts, presentations and defense of competition projects, thematic discussions, and intensive networking sessions aimed at building sustainable professional connections. The Open Dialogue will serve as a platform for exchanging advanced approaches to global economic development and for finding practical solutions in key areas — from investment in people and technology to shaping new infrastructure for global cooperation.
The National Centre RUSSIA team thanks the State Historical Museum for its partnership and for the opportunity to invite foreign experts of the II Open Dialogue “The Future of the World. A Platform for Global Growth” on a tour of one of the most famous museums in the country.
