The action has been held annually since 2018 on the instructions of Vladimir Putin.

During his visit to the Exposition on December 8, Vladimir Putin took three balls with children’s wishes off the New Year tree. Among them were dreams of a trip to the Hermitage, a trip to Baikal, and another girl wanted to try her hand at being a TV news presenter.
