The traditional All-Russian New Year Tree of Wishes campaign is taking place at the country’s main Exposition — representatives of ministries and agencies, politicians, heads of regions and other famous personalities fulfill children’s wishes. The action has been held annually since 2018 on the instructions of Vladimir Putin.

Governor of the Kursk region Roman Starovoit took off the New Year tree a ball with a wish of 11-year-old Elizaveta from Makeyevka in the DPR, who dreams of a doll’s house. He also got the wish of his 10-year-old compatriot Semyon, who asked for a tubing.
During his visit to the Exposition on December 8, Vladimir Putin took three balls with children’s wishes off the New Year tree. Among them were dreams of a trip to the Hermitage, a trip to Baikal, and another girl wanted to try her hand at being a TV news presenter.
