Marat Khusnullin to present projects on creating a comfortable and safe living environment at the National Centre RUSSIA
The National Centre RUSSIA continues its thematic programme
series "Platform of the Future: 100 Projects of Russia", dedicated to
the national development goals set out in Presidential Decree No. 309. The
second event in the series will take place on 28 October. Deputy Prime Minister
of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin will present projects under the
national goal "A Comfortable and Safe Living Environment".
By the end of the year, seven thematic meetings will be
held, featuring major initiatives spanning the social and infrastructure
spheres, ecology, industry, the economy and culture. Presentations at the
National Centre RUSSIA will be delivered by members of the Russian Government
and heads of ministries responsible for implementing national projects and
achieving the national development goals.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat
Khusnullin will present projects aimed at improving quality of life and
creating better living conditions for Russian citizens. Sustainable development
is grounded in ensuring that every citizen has access to affordable housing.
This serves not only as the foundation for strong families and a prosperous
future but also as a powerful driver of comprehensive territorial development.
During the discussion, Marat Khusnullin will share plans to increase housing
availability and to renew the national housing stock by 2030.
The comprehensive development of key populated areas is
another priority. These territories form the infrastructural and economic
framework of the country and are home to 75 per cent of its population, making
it essential to enhance the quality of life there. The meeting with Marat
Khusnullin will feature announcements of projects on urban improvement, the
creation of a comfortable urban environment, and the modernisation of public
utilities, and road infrastructure.
Extensive work is also underway to develop transport
infrastructure and improve road safety. The focus in the near future will be on
the large-scale construction of the Russia International Transport Corridor,
the M-12 Vostok motorway and the Azov Ring. Along with increasing passenger and
freight flows and reducing travel time, these initiatives will enhance the
accessibility of remote areas and stimulate investment activity, leading to the
creation of new industrial zones, logistics centres, residential districts, and
tourist facilities.
Special attention is being given to the restoration and
creation of new-generation infrastructure in historical, newly reunited
regions. Priority is being given to housing and social facilities — polyclinics
and hospitals, cultural centres and museums, stadiums, swimming pools and
sports complexes, schools and kindergartens, universities, colleges and
technical schools. Marat Khusnullin will present the strategy for the
socio-economic development of these territories and outline the facilities
planned for construction in the coming years.
Another key topic will be projects on the creation and
modernisation of cultural and educational clusters. Ahead of the 100th
anniversary of the Artek International Children’s Centre, large-scale
reconstruction of the complex is underway: two new buildings have been
completed, the embankment has been renovated, and the construction of the
Centre for Innovative Educational Technologies is nearing completion.
The development of university infrastructure will also be addressed. Following the instruction of the Russian President Vladimir Putin, work continues nationwide to create a network of world-class student campuses. This initiative opens up broad opportunities for improving the quality of education and scientific research, as well as for attracting talented young people from across the country.
The meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin will also be attended by representatives of federal executive authorities, regional speakers and industry experts.
The event took place as part of the Autumn Days and became a pleasant surprise for visitors to the National Centre RUSSIA in Primorye.
