Events for the whole family on the eve of International Women's Day

In the first days of spring, the RUSSIA EXPO pays special attention to the fair half of humanity. The program includes masterclasses from star makeup artists, meetings with famous women of the country and touching concerts with songs about mothers and love. Here's the selection of events to visit at the Exposition on March 6.

Events from the Open Academy "Territory of Women's Happiness"

Within the framework of the regional program of the Russian Women's Forum "Women: Preserving Traditions - Developing Russia", a rich program will be waiting for visitors. At the stand of the Republic of Bashkortostan there will be consultations of doctors, psychologists, a masterclass by blogger Gohar Avetisyan, art therapy, DJ set by ethno-musician HANQYZY Leila Vladimirova.

Performance by a vocalist of the Tuva National Theater of Music and Dance "Sayany"

Aydysmaa Koshkendey, delegate of the Russian Women's Forum, Merited Artist of the Russian Federation, People's Artist of the Republic of Tuva, vocalist of the Tuva National Theater of Music and Dance "Sayany", will perform folklore compositions together with her husband and son.

Launch of the painting project "Women Creating Beauty"

"Women Creating Beauty" is an art project to create a common large painting, organized by the Irkutsk Art Museum and representatives of MBEI SE Center for Development of Creativity "Folk Crafts" of the working village of Chunsky. Everyone will be able to take part in the creation of the painting.

Demonstration of a video about the contribution of Tuva women to the development of the region

Women of the Tuva Republic have made a great contribution to the development of their native region. Everyone will be able to learn about significant projects implemented by the fairer half by watching an informative video at the stand of the region.

Paralympic lesson

Irek Zaripov, four-time champion of the Winter Paralympic Games in biathlon and cross-country skiing, Merited Master of Sports of Russia, will conduct gymnastics for the visitors of the Exposition. The athlete will talk about proper technique and show exercises for flexibility and strength.

"Just Dance" dance marathon

Everyone will be able to participate in the dance marathon based on the legendary video game Just Dance - a unique esport discipline that merges digital and physical reality. You can compete as a team or alone. The most active dancers will be awarded with prizes.

Moscow Fashion Week. Shows of Russian designers

Conceptual monobrand YUG from Krasnodar, DONGAK - a brand from Kyzyl, which conveys the national flavor of the Tuva Republic in its collections, as well as designers from Ulyanovsk, Kirov, Voronezh and Kazan will present their collections.

Screening of the film "Dance of Life" and an open dialog with the film's director Arina Kozyreva

Arina Kozyreva will present her movie "Dance of Life" about a ballerina pursuing her dream. Visitors will see the inspiring story and will be able to share their impressions, ask questions to the director, and discuss the themes touched upon in the movie.

Concert of young artists "Super Kids"

14 artists, participants and winners of popular TV projects "The Voice. Children", "You're Super!" and "Junior Eurovision" will perform a festive program dedicated to International Women's Day. On the eve of the holiday, the artists will sing songs about spring, about mom and, of course, about love, as well as present dance numbers.

Meetings with famous women of Russia

Visitors to the Exposition will be able to be inspired to new goals and dreams, as well as learn about the path to success at meetings with famous women of Russia. The first to share her story and answer questions will be pianist, Merited Artist of Russia Ekaterina Mechetina. And right after that, there will be a creative meeting with the famous ballet dancer, People's Artist of the RSFSR Natalia Kasatkina.

Ballet Week at the St. Petersburg stand

During the Ballet Week visitors to the St. Petersburg stand will be able to attend meetings with famous personalities of the creative sphere. This time the guests will be met by Alla Sigalova, choreographer, director, actress, TV presenter, professor, Merited Artist of Russia.

Exposition "My Heart is Full of Pity" for the anniversary of Alexei German will allow you to see the "underside" of the world, which the director built together with the crew of the film "Hard to be God". Exposition "Our People. The Universe of Leonid Gaidai's Characters" is conceived and realized as a tour into the world of Gaidai's heroes. It consists of several sections, each telling about "types" - characters of the same type and social affiliation, who took different guises from film to film, but invariably demonstrate their true essence, characteristic of Gaidai's cinematography.

The Museum of Cinema also offers to visit the "Labyrinth of History" exposition, the "Handyman" exposition, the memorial "Sergei Eisenstein's Study" and other bright exhibits related to the history of the national cinematography.

Exposition "Between Light and Darkness" was opened to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi blockade. The exposition highlights a number of film works that analyze the deep trauma of the whole city and demonstrate that the spark of life, faith, courage and fortitude help to preserve the human face even in inhuman conditions.

Farmers Fair

Each region has its own special taste! Guests of the RUSSIA EXPO are invited to get acquainted with the gastronomic culture of small villages and big cities of our country at the Farmers Fair. Here you can taste and buy an incredible variety of cheeses and dairy products, sausages and smoked meat delicacies, berry drinks, juices, lemonades, fruit purees and jams, raw oils, freshly baked bread and gingerbread.

Where: You can comfortably get to our Fair from Pavilion o. 75 by shuttles "Farmers Fair", No. 533 and K from the stop "Northern Loop" at the entrance to the territory of VDNH. Pavilion No. 48 is within walking distance from the "City Farm" stop.

The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Throughout the entire time of the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 7 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place at VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
