One millionth visitor to the RUSSIA EXPO won tickets to the Bolshoi for The Nutcracker and a trip to Moscow
The International RUSSIA EXPO continues to break attendance records. One million people have already visited the exposition over the ten days of its work.
Svetlana Suleymanova from Penza became the one millionth visitor. She came to the Exposition with her husband Salavat and celebrated her birthday the day before. The lucky couple was found in the pavilion of the Smart Finance exposition.
Svetlana and Salavat Suleymanov have been together for 42 years. They used to live in the Urals, where Salavat Fayzrakhmanovich worked in a mine. Svetlana Suleymanova said that the trip to Moscow was a gift from her family, and she absolutely did not expect to receive another one at the RUSSIA EXPO when she was about to leave for the train station to go home.
"We were stopped with the question: "How do you feel about surprises and miracles?" I couldn’t imagine such a thing, I didn’t even expect it. A miracle is just like that. You don’t believe in it, but it still came. It was my dream to go to the Bolshoi Theater, especially since my friend is flying here tomorrow and is going to the Bolshoi. I was so jealous of her, because I don’t have such an opportunity. Now it has appeared!" — Svetlana Suleymanova said.
The ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"», the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Bank of Russia congratulated the visitor and gave her three tickets to the ballet The Nutcracker at the Bolshoi Theater, an opportunity to visit an individual tour in the historic building of the Bank of Russia and stay in one of the capital’s hotels. In addition, the millionth guest will be paid for travel to Moscow and back to Penza, from where she came to visit the Exposition.
"Today, the RUSSIA EXPO was visited by its one millionth guest! Dreams do come true and miracles do happen at the Exposition, and now we have witnessed one of such miracles. For us, seeing the eyes of happy visitors is the biggest reward", — said Natalia Virtuozova, Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"».
"I am delighted to invite you, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture, to the performance that every person dreams of visiting at least once in a lifetime — The Nutcracker. This wonderful performance will allow you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a fairy tale during the New Year. We look forward to seeing you at the Bolshoi Theater!", — said State Secretary, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, Nadezhda Prevodnaya, presenting the prize to the Suleymanov couple.
"We would like to present you with an individual tour to the historical building of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, to our wonderful museum Golden Pantry. I hope that you will find it very interesting and will like it very much", — said Irina Romanova, Advisor to the First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank.
We would like to remind you that the 500,000th visitor to the RUSSIA EXPO was seven-year-old Matvey, who came to the Exposition together with his mother from Rostov-on-Don. He won a trip for the whole family to St. Petersburg. The prize — a certificate for the trip — was presented to the winners by Director General of the ANO «Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements "Russia"» Natalia Virtuozova.
The trip of Matvey and his family is organized by the St. Petersburg Tourism Committee with the support of the St. Petersburg tourist company Tari Tour and JSC Russian Railways. A rich program has been prepared for the winners: excursions with entrance tickets to museums and a guide, as well as meals and accommodation.
The International RUSSIA EXPO is the most important achievements of the country gathered in one place. Visitors are presented with expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal departments, corporations and public organizations.
The exposition will last until April 12. Every day unique cultural and entertainment events and an extensive business program, concerts, educational projects, grand openings of new pavilions and presentations are arranged for visitors.
