Russian Minister of Culture Olga Lyubimova presented state awards to outstanding figures of culture and art
Russian Culture Minister Olga Lyubimova has presented state
and departmental awards to 26 outstanding cultural figures and groups. The
ceremony was held in the department's Pavilion "Our Culture" at the
RUSSIA EXPO.
"More than 300 events have been held on this stage, in
the "Our Culture" Pavilion at VDNH. Here we meet with our audience,
with the professional community, share joys and discuss difficulties, celebrate
common holidays. One of the traditional reasons to gather here is the
presentation of state awards," said the head of the Ministry of Culture of
Russia in her welcoming speech.
The Order of Friendship was awarded to the artist of the
"Mark Zakharov's Lenkom" Moscow State Theater Tatyana Kravchenko. The
Order of Merit in Culture and Art was awarded to Pavel Basinsky, writer and
member of the Creative Council of the Association of Unions of Writers and
Publishers of Russia, and Inga Voronina, head of the department of the Moscow
State Academy of Choreography.
Galina Podolskaya, a teacher of the E.V. Svetlanov
Children's School of Arts, was awarded the Medal of the Order "For
Services to the Fatherland" of the first degree, and the Medal "For
Labour in Culture and Art" was awarded to artists of the Chekhov Moscow
Art Academic Theater, Artem Bystrov and Oleg Topoliansky.
The honorary title "Merited Artist of the Russian
Federation" was awarded to Amayak Akopian, original genre artist of the
Roskoncert, Vladislav Goncharov, animal trainer, advisor to the Director
General of Rosgostsirk, Olesa Sudzilovskaya, member of the Union of
Cinematographers of the Russian Federation, Yulia Chebakova, artist of the
Chekhov Moscow Art Theater, Anatoly Goryachev, Alexei Kolubkov and Nikita
Tyunin, artists of the Moscow Theater "P.N. Fomenko's Workshop".
Lidia Leontieva, chief architect of the Gorky Central Park
of Culture and Recreation, was awarded the title of "Merited Architect of
the Russian Federation", Ivan Popovsky, director of the "P.N. Fomenko
Workshop", was awarded the title of "Merited Art Worker of the Russian
Federation", Nadezhda Averina, artistic director of the A.S. Ponomarev
Children's Music Choir School "Vesna", and Alexei Suslov, deputy
general director for zoological work of the Moscow State Zoological Park, were
awarded the title of "Merited Worker of Culture of the Russian
Federation".
Marina Leonova, acting rector of the Moscow State Academy of
Choreography, was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian
Federation. The gratitude of the head of state was announced to the staff of
the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and Roskoncert, the gratitude of the
Government of the Russian Federation - to Magomet Batchaev, deputy mufti of the
Centralized Religious Organization of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims
of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, Denis Mustafin, deputy mufti of the
Centralized Religious Organization of the Spiritual Assembly of Muslims of
Russia, and Artur Suleymanov, rector of the religious higher education
institution Russian Islamic University of the Central Spiritual Administration
of Muslims of Russia.
The breastplate of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian
Federation "For Contribution to Russian Culture" was presented by the
head of the Ministry to Alexander Shkolnik, director of the Victory Museum.
Honorary diplomas of the Ministry of Culture of Russia were awarded to Oksana
Konysheva, advisor of the Public Projects Division of the Department for
Cooperation with Regions of the State Atomic Energy Corporation
"Rosatom", and Amina Shafikova, Minister of Culture of the Republic
of Bashkortostan.
