The opening of the Minsk International Exhibition Centre BELEXPO took place in Minsk on May 8, ahead of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The centre has become the first, unique, and multifunctional exhibition venue in Belarus, operated by the National Exhibition Centre "BelExpo." Thanks to this new platform, the Republic of Belarus will open a new chapter in the country’s image representation. During the opening, the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, visited the exposition dedicated to the Great Victory. According to the head of state, the new exhibition centre is planned to host the Eurasian Economic Forum, which will take place in Minsk in June 2025.

"As agreed, today we are opening a new page in the chronicles of sovereign Belarus. We have named this miracle – the International Exhibition Centre, the Minsk Exhibition Centre," said Alexander Lukashenko.
