On May 15, the RUSSIA EXPO will open an updated exposition of the Energy of Life pavilion. There will also be a presentarion of "The World of Electricity" exposition, which will tell visitors what the energy industry of the future will be like and how the evolution of technology is changing people's lives.

Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the ways of electric energy delivery to homes, study the key technologies of electric energy distribution, visit the portal of the future, learn about the prospects of space energy, play on one of the world's first synthesizers invented by Russian inventor Lev Termen, and learn what electricity and Pablo Picasso have in common.

The exposition includes five thematic zones. At the beginning, visitors will get acquainted with the structure of electricity and dive into the history of the science of electricity.

The Technology exposition will allow guests to see the development path of electrical distribution technologies, showing how end-to-end technologies have had a revolutionary impact on electrical engineering.

Portal of the Future is an exposition zone where visitors can plunge into the world of advanced electric power technologies through an interactive journey, learn about promising developments from microgrids to space power, and listen to a message from a young astronaut scientist about key aspects of future technologies.

In the Inspired by Electricity zone, guests explore the impact of electricity on art and culture. This exposition has collected works by creators and artists whose art has been inspired by the "magic" and possibilities of electricity.

In addition, guests of the exposition will be able to visit the immersive TESLA SHOW, which will introduce the physics of electricity in an interactive format, allow them to control lightning and transmit electric current over a distance, surprise them with plasma flashes and fluorescent lights.

"It is important for a future engineer to not just possess specialized knowledge of the profession, but to be able to see the complexity of modern technologies related to electrical energy, to learn to see in the ‘wonders’ of natural phenomena the future wonders of engineering and to master the skill of everyday technological literacy. Power engineer is always the profession of the future," noted Oleg Grinko, co-head of the Energinet working group of the National Technological Initiative.

The exposition opening will take place on May 15 at 13:00 in Pavilion No. 46 "Energy of Life" at VDNH.

The opening program includes a sightseeing tour of the main exposition areas, a masterclass of playing the Termenvox (one of the world's first electric musical instruments invented by Russian inventor Lev Termen), as well as a short demo program from the immersive "Tesla Show".

The exposition is organized by the Energinet National Technology Initiative Market working group, Tavrida Electric Company, the Energinet Center, the Russian Ministry of Energy and the Russian Energy Agency.

The exposition will be available to the public until July 8. More details can be found on the website.
