Cartoons for children and a thrilling story of survival on Lake Baikal: good movies at the RUSSIA EXPO
Several
excellent films are waiting for their viewers on May 23-24. Kind cartoons for
the whole family, a documentary about a famous geographer and navigator, an
adventure drama about finding oneself in the middle of the harsh winter Baikal.
All screenings are available to Exposition guests completely free of charge.
BIG CINEMA.NEW RELEASES. CHINK: THE TAILED DETECTIVE 6+
The
residents of Honey Valley are preparing for their favorite holiday - City Day,
when all citizens have the opportunity to admire a unique artifact - the Golden
Beehive. But on the eve of the holiday, the Beehive is stolen. Chink, the owl
detective Sophie's assistant, is blamed for it. Now Chink and his friends will
have to find the real culprit and restore not only the Golden Hive, but also
peace to the Valley.

A story
about the growing up of two twin brothers who are learning the challenging and
dangerous profession of military aviators. Since childhood they have been close
to each other. Together they rejoice and grieve, overcome difficulties and
hardships. But now the brothers realize that their great love, care and
affection prevent each other from achieving a common dream - to conquer the
sky. In the end, each of them faces a difficult choice, on which their own fate
depends.

distract the boy from the loss of his mother, his father takes him to his
grandfather for winter fishing. But the family gets caught in a blizzard and is
lost on the ice of the world's largest lake. Love and the mysterious forces of
Lake Baikal will help them overcome their grief and find each other.

FYODOR LITKE: "BEING AWAKE, I SERVE!" 12+
Fyodor
Litke was a famous Russian statesman, navigator, geographer, ideological
inspirer, founder, organizer and vice-chairman of the Russian Geographical
Society for many years. One of the highest awards of the Russian Geographical
Society, the Gold Medal, established in 1873 in memory of his outstanding
services to the Society and geographical science, is named after Fyodor
Petrovich Litke. The biography of the intrepid navigator and brilliant
hydrographer became the basis for the story about the history of the
establishment and the first decades of the RGS activity.
The final session of the Open Dialogue "Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA on the closing day, April 30.
