"We would like to see a festival like this in Belarus too": newlyweds on a celebration that brings peoples together
Participants in the III All-Russian Wedding Festival
"Russia. Uniting Hearts" from the Republic of Belarus, Grigory and
Yekaterina Rusak, admitted that they would like to see a similar celebration in
their homeland. According to the couple, the festival can bring together not
only newlyweds, but entire families as well, while also strengthening
friendship between brotherly peoples.
"We would like a festival like this, or something similar, to be held in
Belarus, at our national exposition centre BelExpo. It is a festival that brings together not only people, but married
couples as well. It becomes a truly warm family celebration. You can feel that
the unity of our peoples is not just words. That is why our country needs a
festival like this too," the couple said.
The newlyweds noted that such projects have a great future and could become a
tradition for several generations: "We would definitely advise our
children to take part. As parents, we would still worry, of course, but for us
it would be an opportunity to enjoy the celebration as guests."
During the III All-Russian Wedding Festival, 186 couples married at the
National Centre RUSSIA and its branches. A distinctive feature of this year's
festival was the participation of foreign couples for the first time. In
addition to Grigory and Yekaterina Rusak from Belarus, couples in love from
Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and Armenia also joined their lives at the National
Centre RUSSIA.
