"Everyone should visit this exposition": futurist Stephen Alber on "Journey Across Russia"
Independent futurist from Vietnam and essayist participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" Stephen Alber took a guided tour of the interactive exposition "Journey Across Russia" at the National Centre RUSSIA.
"I know a lot about Russia. When a country is so vast, it's difficult to travel all across it. The exposition 'Journey Across Russia' is a kind and important initiative for those who don’t know how beautiful this country is — they have a chance to see and get to know all the regions. I’ve read and studied a lot about Russia, but some details still surprise me. I was impressed by the whale making sounds at the exposition. I would recommend everyone visiting Russia and Moscow to come here and see the scale of the country," noted Stephen Alber.
The futurist was born in Estonia and currently lives in Vietnam.
"Russia is a strong country with soulful people and the right values. I’m very glad I was able to come here to Moscow and share my ideas," emphasized Stephen Alber.
The researcher took part in the original project of the National Centre RUSSIA — the literary club "What to Read?!" As part of the club, there was a discussion of works by essayists participating in the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth", as well as a presentation of an essay collection.
Stephen Alber presented his work selected by the expert council of the National Centre RUSSIA for publication. His essay is dedicated to the topic of the cognitive potential of society as the main driver of progress. The researcher and developer of innovative concepts is convinced that human cognitive abilities are becoming the key economic resource of the 21st century.
At a meeting at the National Centre RUSSIA, the futurist commented on the politicisation of Western neural networks:
"I work with Western artificial intelligences. Attempts to get honest information about Russia from them end in conflict," shared Stephen Alber.
He called for the development of Russian AI and referred to the creation of neural networks as the new arms race. In Stephen Alber’s opinion, Russia can become a global leader in neuroeconomics by creating national neurotechnologies and investing in the "consciousness industry."
