New attendance record has been set at the RUSSIA EXPO
A record for the number of visitors has been updated at the International RUSSIA EXPO. On July 6, as of 21:00, the number of visitors for the day exceeded 200,000 people. In total, the RUSSIA EXPO has already been visited by more than 18 million people.
Earlier, the highest attendance was recorded on the opening day, November 4 with 192 thousand people, and on Children's Day, June 1 with 191 thousand people.
Today, a grand concert "RussiaNever Ends", timed to coincide with the end of the Exposition, was held at the RUSSIA EXPO. The artists performed at three venues at once: on the Main Street Stage, in the space in front of Pavilion No. 1 "First in Russia — Land of Opportunity" and at the "Friendship of Peoples" fountain.
SHAMAN, Oleg Gazmanov, Grigory Leps, Natalia Podolskaya, Dmitry Koldun, ST, Pelageya, Askar Abdrazakov, Alexei Vorobyev and many others performed hits for visitors.
On July 7, the Exposition will host a family festival "Sport for Everyone", during which guests will be able to try themselves in different sports, a parade of national costumes within the framework of the festival "Beauty of Russia", work of a unique bonfire zone from the Movement of the First, where UMA2RMAN and singer Akmal will perform songs accompanied by the guitar.
On July 8 — the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity — the Exposition will host the All-Russian Parade of Families and the gala concert "We are Millions", headlined by The Hatters. At 22:00 the Exposition will finish its work.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 18 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
On July 1, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the Russia National Centre to preserve the legacy of the RUSSIA EXPO and demonstrate the country's achievements.
On 3 March, the National Centre RUSSIA hosted the ceremony for the Znanie.Award — the country's enlightening prize and flagship project of the Russian society Znanie.
At the fifth awarding ceremony of the enlightening prize "Znanie.Award", the National Centre RUSSIA became the laureate in the "Enlightening Company of the Year" nomination.
On 3 March, a meeting of the Organising Committee for the Year of Unity of the Peoples of the Russian Federation was held at the National Centre RUSSIA.
