Best employees and volunteers were awarded at the Exposition
On May 24
at the International RUSSIA EXPO, an awards ceremony was held to recognize the
employees, volunteers, guides, media representatives, and event organizers of
the Exposition. The awards were presented to them by Alexei Zharich, Deputy
Head of the Russian President's Office for Public Projects.
"Today
the Exposition was visited by the 14-millionth guest. This is unprecedented:
stands and expositions have been operating for more than 200 days. You have
succeeded in a difficult task - to evoke positive emotions in people.
Sociological surveys confirm it: guests of the Exposition are in a good mood
and feel proud of our country and our people. We know our history well and
cherish it, but it was you who showed us that there are people behind all these
achievements. I want you to be proud of your involvement in this story, which
happened for the first time in 30 years in the modern history of Russia,"
said Alexei Zharich.
The head of
the excursion and educational project of the "More than a Trip"
program Olga Yurakova thanked for the award, noting that it was a great honor
for her to work together with professionals at the Exposition.
"It is
a great honor and happiness for me to take part in the development of excursion
content based on the achievements of modern Russia. I really hope that those
thousands of tour guides who were at the Exposition will take their knowledge
to the regions," said Olga Yurakova.
Ekaterina
Dubinina, an employee of the Movement of the First, noted the role of every
employee at the RUSSIA EXPO.
"I
thank the management who saw me, acknowledged me and invited me to work at this
Exposition. We are all a huge team, everyone contributes a piece of their work.
We make this Exposition so beautiful," said Ekaterina Dubinina.
Denis
Gorshkov, columnist of RBC TV channel, was also recognized with an award.
"The
Chinese say: God forbid you should live in an era of change. In 2024 in Russia
there is a new truth: God grant you to live in the era of such changes in which
we live," Denis Gorshkov emphasized.
By order of
President Vladimir Putin, the work of the International RUSSIA EXPO was
extended until July 8 - the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, and on April 12,
the Day of Cosmonautics, a new stage began at the Exposition - it is dedicated
to the future of Russia, the prospects and path of the country's development.
