On May 14, an expert panel "High-tech Solutions in Industry: Robotics" was held in Pavilion No. 75. Representatives of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade together with experts discussed steps to increase the number of robots at enterprises and analyzed examples of successful robotization.

Earlier, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree "On the National Development Goals of the Russian Federation for the Period until 2030 and for the Prospect until 2036", in which he instructed to ensure that by 2030 the Russian Federation will be among the top 25 countries in the world in terms of increasing the density of robotization.

Alexander Lvov, Deputy Director of the Department of Machine Tool Building and Heavy Mechanical Engineering of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, spoke about the changes that will take place within the framework of the President's instruction.

"We are already working on the creation of a new national project. As part of it, a separate federal project will be established, aimed at increasing the level of robotization. I would like to note that there are now successful examples of regions where robots are being made and implemented. These are Moscow, the Perm region, the Chelyabinsk region and the Republic of Tatarstan," said Alexander Lvov.

He added that companies from the regions annually give a good increase in the production of robots and demonstrate positive dynamics.

The event was also attended by Viktor Tolmachev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Robotics and ICS Consortium, Konstantin Shipulin, CEO of Robot Plant LLC, Denis Khudyakov, CEO of Robotech LLC, Maxim Chugunov, CEO of Promobot LLC, Anton Suryaninov, CEO of Eidos Robotics LLC, Airat Faskhutdinov, Director of the Technology Center of Kamaz PJSC, Maxim Gurbashkov, CEO of Innodrive LLC, and Sergei Dallada, Director of the Industrial Robotics Development Center of Innopolis University.
