Radio Day was celebrated at the Exposition
The RUSSIA EXPO hosted a concert dedicated to Radio Day,
which is celebrated on May 7. It was organized jointly with the Russian Media
Group and the Russian Society "Knowledge" — the general partner of the RUSSIA
EXPO educational program.
The Main Street Stage of the Exposition featured performances by DFM DJs, Russian Radio stars and artists from the Rocket Records label. Among them were singer, Anna Sedokova, showman and musician Anton Lavrentiev, blogger and fitness trainer Alexei Stolyarov, pop group 5UTRA and other performers.
In addition, the hosts of the morning show "Hard Boiled.
Russian-style!" on Russian Radio Andrei Makeev and Misha Nabokov held a quiz
and raffled off prizes from the radio station.
Throughout the day there were events dedicated to Radio Day.
In particular, Dmitry Shumansky, radio and TV presenter, author and vlog host
of EMERCOM 101, spoke about working in radio to the guests of Pavilion No. 55
"Home of Youth". In addition, a DJ tournament was held on the Main Street Stage — musicians were mixing compositions in real time.
The III All-Russian Wedding Festival "Russia. Uniting Hearts", held at the National Centre RUSSIA, inspired Channel One to produce a special programme dedicated to the event.
Together, the speakers explored the relationship between fashion and physiology, science and centuries-old traditions.
