The RUSSIA EXPO hosted a meeting of the Russian Government's Council on Trusteeship in the Social Sphere, which summarized the results of the "Reproductive Health" pilot project.

"Our event takes place on a special day. On the day when the main thing happens - our President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin delivers his address to the Federal Assembly with the tasks up to 2030. One of the key topics of the President's speech was family. The current year has been declared the Year of the Family, and our today's event is connected with summarizing the results of the "Reproductive Health" pilot project. The President also paid special attention to this topic in his address," said Tatyana Golikova, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia and Chairperson of the Council under the Government of the Russian Federation on Trusteeship in the Social Sphere.

The Deputy Prime Minister also drew attention to the national project "Long and Active Life", the launch of which was announced by the President of Russia.

"Today the President of the country announced a national project called "Long and Active Life". Unprecedented financial resources - more than 1 trillion rubles - have been allocated for the implementation of this national project until 2030. This amount of funding includes a project to modernize primary healthcare. The block of programs includes measures to create and equip women's clinics, build and modernize children's hospitals. Special attention will be paid to the health of children and adolescents, including reproductive health, as well as improvement of material and technical support of perinatal centers," said Tatyana Golikova.

During the meeting, the topic of extending the maternity capital program was also touched upon.

"The President has decided to extend the maternity capital program until 2030. Together with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection we have already calculated everything - this is an additional 600 billion rubles, which will be used to support families," said Tatyana Golikova.

Life expectancy of Russians by 2030 should reach 78 years, the deputy chairman emphasized.

"Russia should enter the 80+ club as soon as possible. We have all the grounds for this, all the preparatory work has been done. Everything that has been worked on over the past six years is a serious foundation," Tatyana Golikova pointed out.

The International RUSSIA EXPO gathers the most important achievements of the country. Visitors are presented expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations. More than 7 million people have already visited the Exposition. The Exposition is held on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
