Fashion collections of designers from six Russian cities were presented at the RUSSIA EXPO
From March 1 to 8, Moscow Fashion Week is taking place at the RUSSIA EXPO. On March 7, designers from Donetsk, Yekaterinburg, Orenburg, Tver, Tyumen and Elista showed their collections.
S.Borisova (Donetsk)
The designer of S.Borisova brand presented the collection "Heart of Donbass" inspired by the atmosphere of the city. Svetlana Borisova conveyed the special architecture of factory buildings, mines, heavy industry enterprises, which is peculiar only to the DPR. The concept of the brand is to use laconic cut lines and proportions, natural ecological materials. According to the founder, the mix of textures and simple architectural form reflects the spirit and energy of the city. The dominant color in the collection is black, symbolizing coal. It is nuanced by accent metallized pieces. Clothing models remind of miners' working uniforms: there are overalls and belts, rough boots.
ORENSHAL (Orenburg)
ORENSHAL brand specializes in the creation of Orenburg down shawl. Exceptional femininity of images, adherence to traditions, tenderness of colors - these are three characteristic features of the presented collection. The Orenburg designer's products are influenced by global trends: skirts and dresses are made in midi length, there are translucent sweaters, and pearls are used as jewelry. Nevertheless, when shawls with embroidered rowanberries and Gzhel painting appear on the catwalk, the viewer immediately reads the national code.
Maria Rybakova (Tver)
Designer Maria Rybakova and her eponymous brand from Tver presented the Woman collection, the main theme of which was femininity. Transparency of textures, on the one hand, epitomizes vulnerability, and on the other - a new level of strength. Flying, flowing maxi dresses of milky, soft blue and navy-blue color are decorated with lace inserts. Bare shoulders and high slits were also effective accents emphasizing the silhouette.
Tweed & Co (Tyumen)
Tweed&Co is a young and actively developing Tyumen clothing brand characterized by a fresh look at the classic design that takes into account modern trends in men's and women's clothing made of tweed. The new Monochrome in Details collection uses pure wool, coat and suit fabrics from the former Tyumen worsted and cloth mill of Krosno corporation. All these are vintage materials. Classic silhouettes are complemented with laconic accents: slits in skirts, interesting sleeves or bows in shirts.
Vira Plotnikova (Yekaterinburg)
Vira Plotnikova is a Russian designer outerwear brand with its own factory in Yekaterinburg. It specializes in the production of fashionable Teddy Coat style fur coats. This season on the runway there were models in fur coats of different lengths of all colors: from milk to plum and black. The cut of fur coats also surprised with variety: the collection included models from youthful oversize to fitted timeless classics.
SHCHUR (Elista)
SHCHUR brand from Kalmykia has been creating stylish women's clothing of high quality for seven years. This season designer Elena Khasikova offered the guests of the show a feminine and elegant collection. The show could be divided into two parts: monochrome casual sets with jackets and flying skirts, as well as cocktail options for evening outings. Perfect cut, maxi length, boat collar, one-shoulder crop tops, accented necklines emphasized the curves and individuality.
