A new season of the Miss Moscow pageant and the Beauty of Russia festival was presented at the Exposition
The
Exposition hosted a press conference of key speakers of the Miss Moscow-2024
pageant — one of the oldest beauty pageants in the Russian Federation, which
will start at the RUSSIA EXPO this summer. During the pageant there will
also be the grand opening of the Beauty of Russia (Krasa Rossii) beauty and
talent festival, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
"The events we hold are an integral part of the lives of our
people and our youth. And the RUSSIA EXPO — it's about Russia, it's about
Moscow, there are a lot of people here, and it's very pleasant that we will
hold our pageant within the framework of this exposition. Our participating
girls will see the RUSSIA EXPO, and we, in turn, will introduce our beautiful
event to its visitors so that they can enjoy the beauty and talents of our
Muscovites," said Tatiana Andreeva-Falk, general director and founder of the
Beauty of Russia and Miss Moscow pageants.
The participants of the press conference had an opportunity
to ask questions to the organizers of the festival, as well as to the
contenders for the title of the most beautiful resident of Moscow and the
Moscow region. In addition, the speakers shared their ideas on what the winner
of the beauty pageant should be.
"For me, Miss Moscow-2024" is, first of all, a modern girl
with a good body figure, but, most importantly — with good energy: kind,
smiling. This is in general the most important thing — to go through life with
a good appeal, always smiling and friendly. And, of course, she should have a
good understanding of modern life and be a patriot," said Tatiana
Andreeva-Falk.
The speakers talked about preparations for the event, shared
personal stories of participation in the festival, discussed the importance of
supporting female beauty and talent and the significance of such events for
society, and, of course, gave a word of advice to the contenders for the crown.
"Our pageants are our life and our extended family. We
communicate with many past contestants, help them, organize meetings,
get-togethers, birthday parties. So be friendly with each other, help each
other, try to feel and support each other. And, of course, remain yourselves — do not put any images on yourselves,
because real life always attracts much more than something artificial," noted the host of the festival and assistant to the general director of the Beauty of Moscow-2024 pageant Elizaveta Shpak.
Festival stylist Andrei Vishnevsky advised the contestants
to strive to reach the top, but not to fixate only on the first place.
"My main advice to you is to be inspired and do your best to
get into the top three, five, ten. Watch magazines, track how the participants
of world beauty pageants behave, it will help you even more. But at the same
time, you should not live with the thought of taking the first place. That is a
very failing thought. You should live with the idea to perform well, to present
yourself beautifully, to do everything with soul, with love and from the bottom
of your heart — this is what leads to victory," added Andrei Vishnevsky.
At the final of the capital's Miss Moscow-2024 pageant,
which will be held on July 6 in the Large Conference Hall, three main
nominations will be determined, namely "Beauty of Moscow", "Moscow Beauty" and
"Miss Moscow". All three winners will automatically qualify for the
All-Russian beauty pageant Beauty of Russia-2024, the final of which will be
held on December 12, 2024.
Beauty of Russia beauty and talent festival is one of the
oldest beauty pageants on the territory of the Russian Federation. For almost
30 years the festival has been attended by several generations of beauties, who
at different times conquered the stages of world beauty contests — Miss World,
Miss United Continents, Miss Earth and others.
Miss Moscow is an annual beauty contest for residents of
Moscow and the Moscow region at the age of under 35. Its predecessor was one of
the first Soviet beauty pageants Moscow Beauty held from 1988 to 1991.
The final panel pitching session for the "Investments in Connectivity" track took place on 29 April at the National Centre RUSSIA.
On the second day of the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World. New Platform for Global Growth" the most remarkable essays submitted by authors in each track were presented.
The topic "Investments in Human Capital" attracted the largest number of essays from around the world, becoming one of the most in-demand themes within the framework of the Open Dialogue.
