Kursk Korenskaya Fair will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO
On June 25,
the oldest Kursk Korenskaya Fair, a hallmark of the region, will take place at
the RUSSIA EXPO. Everyone will have the opportunity to see a unique example of
Russian cultural and historical originality.
Visitors
can expect a vibrant program, including a spectacular parade in stylized
costumes and the ethno-concert "Firebird" performed by the Governor's
Chamber Orchestra and the "Noon" ensemble from the Kursk Musical
College named after G.V. Sviridov, under the direction of Sergei Proskurin.
Products
from Kursk producers will be available for purchase in front of the Friendship
of Peoples fountain. Additionally, the fair will also be held in the Department
Store, where guests can enjoy quizzes, performances by folk groups from the
Kursk region and masterclasses in making clay toys.
The fair
will celebrate the 200th anniversary of its international status. After
a long hiatus, it was revived in 2001.
The current volcanic eruptions in Kamchatka will attract the increased attention of tourists — not only from Russia, but also from other countries.
The gastronomic zone "Journey Across Russia. Food" is open for guests of the National Centre RUSSIA from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 20:00.
As part of the multimedia display titled "Journey Across Russia", the National Centre RUSSIA presents an exposition dedicated to the natural resources of the Ural Federal District.
