On July 2, the RUSSIA EXPO hosted a presentation of tourism in the Siberian Federal District. The regions showcased their main attractions, interesting travel routes and tourist offers.

Representatives of the Altai Republic talked about their region, highlighting the dynamics of tourist flow growth and the most popular unique natural assets and territories. They discussed the rules for visiting nature reserves and sacred sites, which are detailed in the "Tourist Code". Additionally, participants were invited to local festivals and celebrations such as the Kurultai of Storytellers, the First International All-Turkic Sabantuy, the gastro-festival "Mother Earth Altai" and the Interregional Festival of the Altai People "El-Oyin."

Business coach Natalia Bikeykina conducted neuro-gymnastics with visitors and handed out tourist souvenirs with regional symbols, while master of Altai throat singing, Ravil Lirov, talked about authentic musical instruments like the topshuur and komus and performed a musical composition in the Altai language. Besides, a quiz for visitors with memorable gifts as prizes was held.

The Altai region presented "A is for Altai Region", focusing on the region's tourism and recreational potential. Guests were introduced to tourist programs and services, authors' and guided routes. The presentation highlighted the region's hospitality industry, popular tourist attractions, and significant magnets of the Altai region. Noteworthy museums such as the V. M. Shukshin Memorial Museum-Reserve, the G. S. Titov Memorial Museum and the M. T. Kalashnikov Museum, which opened in November 2013, were also featured. The development of major investment projects, which will increase tourist accommodation and infrastructure, was discussed. Significant tourist clusters include the Belokurikha federal resort, the "Belokurikha Mountain" tourist area, the "Altai Foothills" natural park, the "Siberian Coin" gaming zone, the "Tyagun" sports and tourism cluster and others.

The presentation of the Republic of Tuva's tourist potential featured a traditional dance by the "On-Kum" Fashion and Costume Theater. The director of the Republic's Tourism Agency, Buyanzak Tulus, highlighted the main attractions and strengths of the region.

"Tuva is rich in rich historical and cultural heritage, including the nomadic yurt, national cuisine, folk crafts, traditional arts such as throat singing (khoomei) and agalmatolite carving (chonar-dash), and national sports like horse racing and wrestling (kuresh). We invite you to climb mountains, raft down wild rivers, hunt for trophies, rejuvenate at hot springs, and absorb the energy of sacred places. Come visit us!" encouraged Buyanzak Tulus.

Visitors were also treated to performances by international throat singing competition winner Damdyn Dalai, Grand Prix winner of the IV International Festival "Khoomei in the Center of Asia" Mongun-ool Mongush, and Grammy Award-winning People's Khoomeiji of the Republic of Tuva Igor Koshkendei.

The Republic of Khakassia's presentation highlighted its capital, Abakan, the tourist brand "Land of Five Elements" and major tourist attractions like the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Power Station, the Ancestors' Trail and the Salbyk Kurgan. They also held a gift draw for guests.

Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk region invited guests to visit the Yergaki Nature Park, the Putorana Plateau, the taiga and the Yenisei River, along with a quiz featuring gifts.

The Irkutsk region presented its main attractions, industrial tourism projects, the Baikal-Alaska Park-Hotel, and an overview of Baikal tours and new format tours. Guests were invited to visit the region's most popular tourist sites: the Circum-Baikal Railway, Olkhon Island, the villages of Listvyanka and Bolshoe Goloustnoe, the Baikalsk ski resort, and, of course, the jewel of the Irkutsk region — Lake Baikal. A certificate for a stay at the History hotel in Irkutsk was also raffled off among the visitors.
