On June 5, a session — presentation "Morning at VDNH" was held in the Cultural Projects Zone of Pavilion No. 75. Vladimir Yakushev, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Urals Federal District (UrFD), and Oybek Partov, Program Director of the "Morning — 2024" forum, shared information about the district's youth projects with the guests.

At the beginning of the session — presentation, Azamatgeri Khakunov, champion of the Student Basketball Association, conducted a warm-up, after which Vladimir Yakushev addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. He spoke about the "Urals Team" youth management talent pool competition and the criteria that are applied to the contestants.

"The federal project 'Leaders of Russia' served as a prototype. When I arrived, my colleagues and I talked to each other and decided to revamp it a little bit. We made minor changes to it, and it is now being implemented in the current form. First, we limited participation in the project to 35 years of age. We would like it to be young people, i.e. those people who should serve as the management reserve in the Urals Federal District at the moment," said Vladimir Yakushev.

He added that only 15 winners were selected out of 1.2 thousand applications. During half a year the finalists of the "Urals Team" undergo six modules of training in different subjects of the Urals Federal District.

Oybek Partov spoke about the "Morning" forum, it will be held from June 22 to 28 in Yekaterinburg on the campus of the Ural Federal University and will be different from the previous ones.

"This year we have put a special emphasis on working youth. The agenda tells us that paying attention to them, increasing the attractiveness of working professions and taking care of working youth is an important motive that the state is moving towards. Of course, we will also pay attention to students and children from 14 to 17 years old, who will have a special separate program this year. We are also waiting for the participation of experts," Oybek Partov said.

The Ural Federal District Youth Forum "Morning" is an educational and communicative platform where participants gain new knowledge and competencies, present their ideas and receive resource support for their realization. The Forum will gather more than a thousand participants aged 16 to 35 from six regions of the Urals Federal District: working youth, students and schoolchildren.

The main motive of the 2024 educational program is "Professional Urals". Each region will prepare its part of the program in accordance with the current topics: Tyumen region — information and digital technologies, Chelyabinsk region - metallurgy, Sverdlovsk region — industry, Kurgan region — agriculture and ecology, KhMAA - oil production, YNAA - gas industry. During the forum there will be many masterclasses, lectures, various trainings and organized workshops.
