The Year of the Family will be launched at the RUSSIA EXPO on January 19 during the All-Russian Family Forum Dear-Loved Ones. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova.
"The Year of the Family is supposed to be opened by the All-Russian Family Forum Dear-Loved Ones, which will be held at the RUSSIA EXPO at VDNH starting January 19 this year", — Golikova said during a meeting of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with deputy prime ministers.
According to Tatyana Golikova, the plan of the main events was approved at the meeting of the organizing committee of the Year of the Family. The main focus is on finding solutions to key demographic problems. This includes creating conditions for the birth of the first children in young families, strengthening reproductive health, supporting large and multi-generational families, forming a healthy trend for a large family.
Deputy Prime Minister added that one of the key tasks of this year is the activities related to preferential mortgage lending. On the instructions of the President a single legal status of a large family should be approved at the federal level, as well as a number of other measures will be taken.
It should be reminded that the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on November 22 to declare 2024 the Year of the Family in Russia. This decision was taken to preserve and protect traditional family values.
Its central theme was the development of visual culture through educational projects, public spaces and new approaches to environmental design.
The Summer Expert Meetings will be held at the National Centre RUSSIA in July.
Experts from the Centre for Cross-Industry Expertise "Third Rome" analysed the discussions and essays submitted by participants in the April event.
