People's Front regional teams awarded at the RUSSIA EXPO
The People's Front regional teams were awarded at the RUSSIA EXPO. Activists were handed letters of thanks for supporting fighters participating in the Special Military Operation and civilians.
Representatives of the People's Front from all regions of Russia received commemorative gifts. They were handed over by journalist Ruslan Ostashko, TV presenter of Channel One Polina Tsvetkova, People's Artist of Russia, head of the Great Moscow Circus Askold Zapashny, Russian chess player, grandmaster Sergei Karjakin and actress Yana Poplavskaya.
On June 18, the two-year anniversary of the People's Front project "Everything for Victory" is celebrated at the Exposition. During this time, more than 4 million people took part in it and raised 14 billion rubles for the needs of fighters in the zone of Special Military Operation. In addition, residents from all over the country brought more than 8 million items — bandage kits, warm clothes and much more — to the regional offices of the People's Front. The program includes autograph sessions of People's Front ambassadors, a thematic concert, as well as a solemn ceremony of presenting awards to public figures for their personal contribution to the approaching victory in the SMO. In addition, an Exposition of inventions by the People's Front's "Kulibin Club" engineers is on display throughout the day.
The International RUSSIA EXPO showcases the most important achievements of the country in one place. Throughout the Exposition, cultural events, a rich business and educational program await the guests. The expositions of 89 Russian regions, leading federal agencies, corporations and public organizations are presented to the visitors. More than 16 million people have already visited the Exposition. The International RUSSIA EXPO takes place on the territory of VDNH in Moscow from November 4 to July 8.
This unique project, implemented in the format of an interactive tour, invites children to embark on an unforgettable journey across the regions of the country.
On 6 January, a showing of the multi-genre performance "Morozko" took place at the National Centre RUSSIA. It was held for guests and veterans of the special military operation who participate.
