The closing
ceremony of the All-Russian Forum of Medical Volunteers was held at the RUSSIA
EXPO. During the ceremony the results of the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition
were summarized and the winners were awarded.
The
All-Russian Medical Volunteers Forum was held for the eighth time. The slogan
of the event in 2024 is "Medical Volunteers: Yesterday, Today,
Tomorrow", which emphasizes the importance of the history of the medical
volunteer movement in Russia, its relevance and perspective.
The forum
was attended by 300 people: regional coordinators, coordinators of local
branches and areas of activity of the All-Russian Public Movement "Medical
Volunteers", as well as more than 60 responsible employees of public
authorities of the subjects of the country in the field of health protection
and educational institutions of higher education, subordinate to the Ministry
of Health of Russia.
The forum
also hosted the Rosmolodezh.Grants competition. Its winners will receive up to
1 million rubles to support socially significant projects. Volunteers presented
to the expert commission initiatives aimed at the development of medical
volunteerism in the regions.
"We
spent these two days together in a very warm, family atmosphere. In my opinion,
the forum was a success. I would like to thank each of you for your
contribution. I would like to note that you are not just volunteers who
dedicate their lives for the benefit of others, but also socially responsible
citizens of our country. Every medical volunteer is a caring and active citizen
of Russia. This is evidenced by the large number of applications submitted for
the grant competition," said Anastasia Zatsepurina, Chairwoman of the
All-Russian Public Movement "Medical Volunteers".
Among those
recommended to receive grant funds were: Ekaterina Yermakova with the project
"Pay Attention", Milana Amirarslanova, whose project is called
"Kindness without Borders", Ekaterina Burlakova (regional
schoolchildren's meeting "I Am a Young Volunteer"), Ekaterina
Bakhareva (project "#YourSmile"), Yulia Grigorieva (training course
"Know. Can. Save"), Daria Yelkina (project "Make Time to
Help"), Ekaterina Kudratova (project "Festival of Medical Specialties
"#vMEDe"), Anastasia Menshchikova (project "Field Training
Program for Medical Volunteerism "#PoPuti"/#AlongtheWay), Anastasia Chernyaeva
(educational project "Land of Opportunities"), Irina Sikhvardt
(project "School of Future Parents "Family Academy"), Sergei
Mikhailov (project "ZelFit"), Inna Kononenko (project "First Aid
Training "Time=Life").
Also,
during the closing ceremony, medical volunteers from all over Russia were
awarded commendation letters and certificates of honor for their work.
Anastasia Zatsepurina noted the importance of holding the All-Russian forum of medical volunteers at the RUSSIA EXPO.
"The RUSSIA EXPO is a very important, flagship event in the life of our country. Throughout the whole time of its work anyone can come and learn about the achievements that our country has. The scale of the Exposition is impressive. The agencies have approached the matter in an extraordinary way: interactive formats of interaction with guests have been created, pavilions have been beautifully decorated, and information is available to all visitors. The task of the "Medical Volunteers" movement at the Exposition is to provide its guests with accurate and correct information about the preservation and promotion of health. We are very grateful to the Exposition for the opportunity to tell about ourselves and bring important information to ordinary citizens of our country," said Anastasia Zatsepurina.

More than one hundred representatives from 48 countries gathered in Moscow, at the National Centre RUSSIA, for the Open Dialogue "The Future of the World.
